Dell Quay Celtic
Longboat Regatta 2024 - a wonderful evening at the club
Last Friday we had five guest clubs join us for a hotly contested evening of racing: Chichester, Itchenor, Emsworth Slipper, Langstone Cutters and the Coastal Rowing Academy, |
We had over seventy guest rowers join us along with two guests from Australia (who had obviously come over just to see this prestigious event!) |
The conditions were perfect and the races were held over a one mile triangular course which was laid South of the club. |
The races were run in three categories: Mixed, Ladies and Open providing plenty of opportunity for everyone to participate. |
We were even rewarded at the end of the evening by the most spectacular Dell Quay sunset. A full report along with the race results will appear in Quay News.
And don't forget.... |
Year Book PollLet us know whether you would like the year book to continue beyond 2025 (or not!) by voting. Please vote via the website (blue button -illustrated). |

Selling your dinghy (stored in dinghy park)?Just a reminder that if you are selling your dinghy and it is stored in the dinghy park, please notify the berthing officer (Gideon Sherwood - berthing@dellquaysc.co.uk). And if you sell to a non member, the dinghy must be removed from the dinghy park. And speaking of the dinghy park...The recent weather has resulted in a Grass-Growth-Spurt in the dinghy park - please get mowing! Some berths are so overgrown, the dinghies have almost disappeared from sight! |
