Wildlife Week continues with two free birding activities

We have a fabulous array of birds in our estuary, and its very satisfying to be able to identify some of them. And there are two upcoming events which give members the chance to learn about some of those birds.

We've a bird spotting competition running from 1st Sept to 31st October with the winners those who spot the most types of birds. There's a dedicated website which explains it all and shows some of the birds you may see. It also has the online entry form. It's just for fun (no prizes) so families can enter as a team; winners will be recognised in December Quay News.
- To launch to juniors, we are running a Bird Awareness Workshop before the Sunday Funday on 8th Sept in the clubhouse. 11.30 - 12.30. All members welcome even if not participating in the Funday session. It's five active stations run in conjunction with the Education Centre. Its free and just turn up - no need to book.
