Centenary Pageant

We have planned a fun day for all the family. There will be a cruiser sail-by with bunting and flags galore. Come and see the model boats in action. There will be an opportunity to have a go in one of our rowing boats or on a paddle board.

We invite all dinghy sailing members of all ages and abilities to come out for a sail from 1pm (let's empty the dinghy park!). At around 15.30 we will be running a team racing event. Anyone who signs up for this will be entered into one of two or three teams depending on numbers. We welcome sailors of all ages and abilities to join the fun, and no previous race experience is necessary.

All the activities are free, but please book so we can get an idea of numbers.

Safety boats will be out as usual.

We have sea-shanties being played live through the afternoon, and in keeping with this we ask that you dress like a pirate. This could be anything from a simple head scarf to the full Long John Silver!
