Cruiser Lift In Saturday 21 March 2026

After a winter of inclement weather that delayed getting winter maintenance jobs done, it finally warmed up and antifouling and polishing continued apace to have boats ready for lift in.
Conditions couldnt have been better, the huge crane arrived and once all was set up, the gleaming boats were lifted from their winter berths on the Quay and gently set down on the foreshore to await the tide to take them to their moorings. This year masts were lifted on too and the whole procedure went like clockwork thanks to the efforts of the lift in crew and galley team who provided breakfasts and lots of tea and coffee. Our 2026 Cruiser Rally Programme begins with a shake down rally to Bembridge on Tuesday 31st with an evening meal at The Vine, followed by Shepards Marina, Cowes on Saturday 18th April and Gosport Premier Marina on Tuesday 5 May.
