Workshop Usage Terms and Conditions

WORKSHOP Terms & Conditions of use.

The Workshop and its facilities are a club resource, for the use of every member, abusing the facility will result in restrictions on it use.

1. Workshop Booking
   1. The Workshop should be booked and paid for on line before starting any projects that require the use of the floor area or work bench for longer than an hour.
   2. Failure to book your time in the workshop means that if another member has booked and your project is in the way it will be moved outside.
2. Flammable substances should NOT to be stored in the Workshop.
3. Users are to ensure that personal protective equipment and ventilation is suitable for the task being undertaken.
4. Especially. when using power tools make sure the item you are working on is properly supported and secured.
5. Club Tools. The club provides some basic tools in racks and on the bench.
   1. Please place tools back in their respective storage places, in a clean condition,
   2. If tools are damaged. please advise the Workshop Tzar so that they can be repaired, replaced or removed - to prevent potential injury to other users.
   3. Any tools or equipment used outside the workshop, are to be returned by the end of the day and not retained overnight unless authorised by a member of the Cruiser Committee, Maintenance Team or the Workshop Tsar.
6. Hazardous Materials and Equipment. There are hazardous materials and equipment stored in the Workshop, therefore children are to be supervised and accompanied at all times whilst in the building, members under the age of 18 should not use the workshop unsupervised.
7. The Workshop (floor) and bench should be kept clear of gear and the workshop left tidy at the end of each day and of course in preparation for the next user. Leave it as you would wish to find it.
