Galley Supervisor Training
Can't remember how to turn on the cooker? Open or close the galley? Or, if you would like to get more involved in the club's activities, consider becoming a galley supervisor.
We'll be running a training session on 18th January 10.00-12.00 at the club. This is suitable both as a refresher for existing galley supervisors, and as training for new galley supervisors.
Being a galley supervisor is a great way to meet more people (on both sides of the counter!). And there is always time for a chat and a laugh or two!
You don't need to be an experienced chef to be a galley supervisor; we're looking for people who are happy to manage a team and run the galley and bar.
The role varies according to the event and your experience from tea, coffee and cake to catering for social events.
Training and mentoring are provided. And we ask that you complete a food safety course on line, which the club pays for.
If you would like any more information, please contact Frances Talbot.
