Dinghy Cruise to East Head 4th May 2024

Weather: Perfect. Sun all day, high temperatures with a SE 8kn wind.

5 dinghies sailed from DQ together with 1 patrol boat.

1 Bosun, 2 Wayfarers and 2 Pico's. The x2 Pico's were helmed by 2 Junior sailors. It was great to have the support of the patrol boat for the 2 junior sailors.

We set sail at 11:30am on the ebb. After arrival and some sunbathing, the sailors strolled to the Wittering's café for ice-creams. Later on, there was a tennis tournament on the beach.

We returned on the flood and arrived at the planned time of 18:30pm.

A very enjoyable day out. It was the type of day you could relive a thousand times.
