Cruiser Rally to Royal Clarence Marina, Gosport, Tuesday 5 May Wednesday 6 May 2026

It was a very pleasant sail across Hayling Bay and into Portsmouth Harbour and an easy arrival at Royal Clarence marina where Moontide, Firebird, Mandalay and Snoopy were all berthed alongside the rafting pontoon. Snoppy found herself berthed between some very expensive neighbours.
After drinks and nibbles aboard Moontide where the recent extensive renovations were much admired, it was a short walk to The Old Bakehouse for an evening meal; Pub food with a few interesting variations enjoyed by all and 10% off for staying in the marina! Everything was conveniently close by including a well stocked shop and the T by the Sea Café was open for crew to enjoy an impressive full English with black pudding before a very pleasant sail back into Chichester harbour.
It was an enjoyable and relaxed rally, with a very helpful harbour master who would welcome us back. A new venue to add to our list.
